Kid Common Questions

ArrowQ: What are the benefits of becoming a PGK Kid? A. By registering and becoming a PGK Kid, you can:
  • Join a team
  • Track your activity
  • Write reviews
  • Score points
  • Get new project ideas
ArrowQ: Do I have to register in order to use the site? No. You can find lots of information without registering, but if you want to join a team, write and read reviews about the various activities, track your progress in completing projects, score points, and all that fun stuff, you will need to register. ArrowQ: Is there a cost to register? No. During our beta release there is no cost to register. It’s free! When we launch the next version, there may be a small fee to unlock the special features available to registered kids, so registering now while it is free is a great idea. ArrowQ: Do I need my parent’s permission? Yes. You can register for the site today and start using it. But your parents will get an email asking them to let us know in the next 72 hours if it is okay for you to join the website and keep using it. If they say no – or if they don’t respond – we’ll have to remove you from the list. You’ll still find good ideas for projects even if you aren’t registered as a PGK Kid. ArrowQ: Does Project Giving Kids do anything with my information? No. We don’t share your personal information with anyone else. Project Giving Kids is a nonprofit charity too. Our goal is to help kids find meaningful ways they can make a difference and encourage them to go for it. We don’t share your personal information with anyone else.
